Can You Help With Outdoor Weddings? What Equipment Is Suitable For Outdoor Use?
The team at Quality AV has all the equipment and expertise necessary to make your outdoor wedding a success! For outdoor weddings, it’s important to choose equipment that can handle various conditions. This includes:
Wireless Microphones - In outdoor settings, it’s essential for officiants and speakers to be wire-free.
Portable Speakers - Battery-powered options are great for mobility and ease of setup.
Mixer - A small mixer can help manage multiple audio sources and levels.
DJ Setup Or Laptop - Ensure it’s protected from the elements with a cover or tent.
Pre-Recorded Playlist - Have a backup ready in case of technical issues.
Spotlights - Useful for highlighting specific areas, like the ceremony stage or dance floor.
Tents Or Canopies - Provide shade for equipment and guests, and protection from rain.
It’s always a good idea to have a backup plan for weather changes.
How Do You Ensure Clear Sound For Wedding Vows & Speeches?
Nothing can ruin a wedding like unclear sound, which is why we are dedicated to ensuring crystal-clear outcomes in the following ways:
Quality Microphones - We use wireless lapel mics for officiants and speakers, which capture voices clearly without picking up noisy backgrounds.
Optimal Positioning Of Microphones - We place microphones close to the speakers but out of sight, ensuring they pick up the sound without being intrusive.
Sound Check - We conduct a sound check before the ceremony starts to adjust levels and ensure clarity.
Speaker Placement - We position speakers strategically to distribute sound evenly without causing echo or feedback.
Extra Equipment - We have backup microphones and speakers ready in case of technical issues.
Tech Support - We have a technician on-site to monitor sound levels and troubleshoot any problems.
Can The Lighting Be Customized To Match The Theme Or Colour Scheme Of My Wedding?
Absolutely! Lighting can be beautifully customized to match the theme and colour scheme of your wedding. At Quality AV, we offer the following lighting options to help you bring your vision to life:
LED Uplighting - LED uplights can be programmed to shine in your chosen colours, enhancing the venue’s ambiance.
Gobos - Custom gobo projections can display your initials, wedding date, or thematic designs.
Dimmable Lights - Adjust brightness levels to create a romantic atmosphere during the ceremony and a festive vibe for the reception.
Dance Floor Lighting - Special effects or coloured lights can be added for a fun and dynamic dance experience.
Glow Towers - These can be programmed to create light shows that sync to the music played by our DJ.
Do You Provide Microphones For The Officiant, Readers, &/Or Performers?
Yes, we can provide all of the microphones necessary for your wedding.
How Long Does It Take To Set Up & Dismantle The AV Equipment At A Wedding Venue?
The length of time it takes to set up and tear down AV equipment for your wedding will depend on your venue as well as the scope and complexity of the setup you request. A simple DJ booth with speakers and microphone setup typically takes about 1- 1.5 hours to set up and another 1 hour to tear down. A more complex setup with lighting, projectors and speakers usually takes 2-3 hours to set up.
Will You Have A Technician On-Site During The Wedding To Manage The AV Equipment?
Having an AV technician on-site for your wedding is always highly recommended, particularly if you have requested a complex AV setup. For an additional fee, Quality AV can provide an experienced team member to ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the ceremony and reception.
The benefits of having an AV technician present include:
Real-Time Adjustments - Any sound or lighting issues can quickly be addressed as they arise.
Equipment Monitoring - The technician can keep an eye on all equipment in order to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential problems.
